As many of you know, I recently returned from working for fourteen months in Bulgaria. Yes, I know what you're thinking. Where? Well, since Bulgaria can't seem to market itself internationally, I thought I'd give it some free help on my website (but just for this month!) and share with you some of my favorite links from this wonderful country:

This month's food for thought...
Never forget that the ascendancy of the car was not brought about by makers of
horse-drawn carriages. In the recent internet technology revolution, Amazon,
Yahoo, Google, AOL, eBay, and many other successful businesses were founded by
entrepreneurs who, though lacking in resources, saw and took the opportunity to
create new business models that could capitalise on revolutionary technology.
Meanwhile most established businesses were the laggards in the rear - all too
busy trying to fit the new technology into their existing view of the world and
existing business models, held back by the inertia of experience.
Despite what they might say (or think), most established businesses
react to change as threat rather than opportunity - and the impending
sustainability revolution will be no exception.
